I got a macBook 2 weeks ago and its been working quite fine as a coding
platform.
Running BD 7 and CFMX8(beta), no problems so far.

I'm about ready to make the switch. My dell d400 is about 3 years old. I
have maxed out the RAM to 2 gigs so at least that helps.
I think in the next 3-4 months I will be upgrading to God's OS :-)

My 2 year old Toshiba was starting to die on me.
On saturday, I decided that I would get a new laptop, and since I'm not a
big fan of Vista (yet).
I had a few options at first I considered just building a PC and
installing Ubuntu...
But in the end, I chose to buy a MacBook.
