bught a new one for 50 with 20 rebate.
powers up now.

The only way to be able to tell is to take the cpu out and put it in another
motherboard. This will be very difficult to diagnose, it could be anything from
a motherboard, to memory, to cpu, to even the power supply not working
correctly.
