Just to play some devil's advocate here, but Beyond Compare can work
with-in eclipse, accor
If you've got eclipse, hell, there's some kick-ass compare stuff built right in!
You can install the Remote System Explorer and get access to FTP/SFTP, etc..
Plus, it will keep a record of what you changed locally, that you can
see at a glance.

I've long been a fan of Beyond Compare by Scooter Software.

It's not free, but the 25-30 dollars I paid for it was always worth it.
Looks like the next version will have a 'Pro' level going for $50.

Subject: file comparison software suggestions
I need to compare to sets of files. Could someone recommend a good, free
program? ftp comparison would be a bonus, but local/mapped drives only
would be acceptable.
I looked around, but there tons of options, and would rather get opinions
I used to use FileSync from Fileware, they do have a FTPSync but I
didn't really use that...
