Yeah, I find XP runs real well on Parallels, as does Ubuntu, Red Hat
and CentOS but Vista is very sluggish and the User Experience Index
does not (yet) find

Interesting. I'm assuming that you're using the most recent version of
Parallels here. I've never noticed anything similar, but then again I just use
it for the occasional Windows compatibility (ie., outlook and a couple of other
programs).

I purchased VMWare over the weekend because my parallels install seems to bog
my puter down a bit and I heard vmware was a bit better on resourses. So i
opened each up one at a time and watched the activity monitor to really see
what each was using.
VMWare was pretty stable
