I just read an article on the branding opportunities at the Siyam.

7.5 years from now, I hear the London Olympics Stadium will be available.

Michael, did you do the cycle, or simply attend the celebration?

I wish. The only 'real' food was for those who had a box. Otherwise, the
concessions were limited to pre-wrapped snacks. If someone was able to get
in there with a 'real' kosher deli, they would have made a mint.
This does lead directly into what happens 7.5 years from now. We'll need

There were 95,000 Jews in attendance at the Met Life stadium to celebrate
the ending of the 12th Daf Yomi cycle and the beginning of the 13th. Each
cycle takes about 7.5 years.

HA! Good one*ahem**nervous laughter*
Ok.
Nope. Still a page a day. Usually an hour or more with others in a study
group. But that's the Daf Yomi. There are people who study more in school
or as a scholarly pursuit. My uncle who passed away 2 weeks ago had done
the complete cycle over a dozen times before he passed (no, not a page a
day.
Yep. The event was a culmination of the 12th cycle. The 13th started on
Friday.

Time is moving much faster, if it was a page a day back in 1923 it should
be 1 every 3 days now. People had much more time to focus on such an
endeavor.

Yep. A client got me a $100 seat on the second level off the corner, stage

I heard about that on NPR. You were in that? That's kinda cool. One of the
points the NPR story made was that mobile computing has made it much easier
to carry the Talmud around so that you have it for your reading group, but
mobile wasn't so prevalent back when that started so I don't know how va

Unfortunately, the chances of it getting badly interpreted just stopped me
from using it. But I thought I'd share.
