but i guess her co. is going belly up too..
so i will either take the job tomorrow..
or use all of our savings & relocate to Scotland...

i had to turn down my 3 freelance clients till i land a "real" job.
because un-employment is so much more secure.
supposedly the reason the entire group was let go
is because they where slacking, & not pushing the envelope enough!

That begs the question: why was everyone laid off?
Regardless, you can look at it as an interim position and go for it. It'll
give you something to do while you look for something more stable.
