i am refering to either remote tables or local table is either remote or local servers... this is truly frustrating. you know in Enterprise manager you click on a remote server database & the table and the say return all rows or do a query or look at a view i can see that table. but not open

i need some help! i installed a sp4 for sql server on my local box. i had problems. uninstalled & reinstalled a few times. i can see my remote servers & tables. but am unable to view the data in the tables. any ideas where to look? i have googled the hell out of it. *An unexpected error happened
