Hi all, I am trying to using an application that needs a later version of the JDK than the 1.4 (default) on my server. I tried updating the JVK to version 7, latest available. After changing the JVM path the CF server would not start, so I am wondering which is the latest version of the JDK tha

Rick, It might work pretty well under other OS's. But there are a number of people (myself included) that have had issues on Windows 7/Windows Server 2008. I think there are issues with Windows UAC and other permission controls. The only workaround aside from doing the command-line install

Rick, What OS are you on? If Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008, you might want to try downloading the hotfix (but not installing) using the Server Update tool, then installing the update using this Adobe Docs

So, I noticed that Coldfusion 10 Updater 8 is available, so I attempted to install it using the Server Update section of the CF Admin. I did "Download and install". Coldfusion allegedly restarted, as I had to log in again, but it isn't installed. Now my options are "Re-download" and "Install".

The.simple answer is, only use an index loop where there is more than 1 iteration. It will always run once even if the loop is 0, because it has to run once to find that out. I have never had an issue with an interation of 1 running twice though, that I have noticed anyway. Regards Russ Michaels
