Lighten up, it's Friday.
Peter I apologize for all the anal jealous bastards (no one in
particular) on this list, cuz MM announced the beta _publicly_ June 2.

though I'm offering this as a possible solution to your problem, I'm
anxious to hear criticism on this design.

Maybe some owe Peter an apology. It wasn't more than 4 days ago he got
flamed for merely mentioning 'Red Sky Beta'.

Subject: RE: Packaging a CFC/CustomTag/UDF 4
I'm looking for some best practices when packaging CF code for
distribution. Like what to watch out for, how to make an install as easy
as possible, what files to include, etc. Does anyone have any opinions
or recommendations?
Thanks in advance.

Yeah... looks like you would need to wrap into a COM object.

Hrmmm... I think we're missing something. Seems odd that tickets.com
would give out a .dll that wasn't a COM object. Was this .dll intended
for client side apps? Did they provide you with any sort of
documentation? Is that something you would be able to share?

Gary,
I would set it inline with:
Since it's only one attribute you want to change, it's nice and short,
and this way you can inherit from other classes which you may have for
your form inputs. (like specifying font attributes, color, etc.)
"Can you hear me now?.... gooo
Make sure you have applied updater 3.

You can also just pass it a struct and only specify keys of the
parameters you want to pass. This way you only have to pass one variable
through the function, and you can specify what you want and do not want.

when there is a change? (I'm sure I know the answer to the last
question, but it never hurts to be sure)
