Job Title Sr. Cold Fusion Developer Position DarwinSuzsoftâs Business Intelligence Practice is looking for a Sr. Cold Fusion Developer. Our Financial Services Client located in Boston is looking to add this developer because they have just lost their CF developer. This role is a replacement role for them. Their database-backed web applications are built using Cold Fusion and they need someone to come on their team to be responsible for the development and maintenance of these web applications.
Responsibilities · Developing, QA testing, debugging, and documenting web applications built using Coldfusion (CFML), SQL, Javascript, CSS and XHTML, J2EE · Working to web-enable internal business processes and enhancing corporate websites. They will collaborate with web developers, SQL developers, marketing staff and system administrators in the development and support of web applications. · Designing and implementing new web applications; integrating off the shelf software solutions; performing day-to-day administration and support of the clients' web portfolio. · Diagnosing and troubleshooting problems with existing web applications and sites. Qualifications · In depth knowledge of ColdFusion (CFML) · Experience working with CFC's and custom CF tags · Understanding of application development methodologies, such as application prototyping and various agile methodologies. · Experience building interactive corporate web sites from wireframes and graphic designs · Experience analyzing and transforming high-level business requirements into functional code. · Calling SQL stored procedures from CFML (used to be desired) · Strong communication · Clean profile · LDAP skills Desired Skills · Fusebox development framework for ColdFusion · CFEclipse/Eclipse · Flash Acting Scripting · JavaScript, SQL, HTML, XHTML, and Dreamweaver 8.
