Not sure on that =)
But to add to this thread, a FREE program called VNC is available, and it is
GREAT. Works on NT/2000 fine, small, and free.. did I mention free? Also, it
is for a WIDE variety of OS's..

Will work on PWS and does not need to be on a network. You should be fine on
another machine with that setup.

Interesting =).. I love when we can come up with other solutions.
I looked at the allaire pages, that is what provoked my comment, I still am
confused about the "major" stuff that it is missing. Guess I will just
install it at home and play.

So, what are the major differences from Pro or Enterprise compared with
Express??
Main thing I need is scheduled tasks, multiple datasources...

Am I correct in thinking that the upgrade from CF 4 and Studio 4 both to 4.5
is a "pay for" upgrade? But, the upgrade from 4.5 -> 4.5.1 of both is a free
upgrade?

I would image (not sure how the feed comes to you) if you setup a scheduled
task to retrieve the info and save it locally, then call the local info from
your page instead of the remote.

Cfstudio all the way. Simply the different colored code is worth it, even if
you still write all the code by hand.

On that note, as we are trying to get into the mainstream cf hosting
business. How do big cf hosts let users manage datasources? Is there CF code
to let users add and delete?

I am assuming that I use the trim function to make sure that no whitespace
is on either side of a form field entry? Can someone give a quick example of
this?
Thanks!

Same here. Now there is an option to refresh after any changes that are
made, and that seems to slow down speeds, but I have that turned off on both
systems. Odd.

I have it on 2000 with a fat 32 drive (almost same config at home, except
with 98)... weird.. guess I will do the 4.01 upgrade and see if that helps.
I would like to try 4.5 but don't want to spend the cash right now.

Sound like a good idea? Is this going to take to long to load on the main
