've run the CFMX update, and I even went into the "cfclasses" directory
on the harddrive and deleted the above said java class, but I still get
the same damn error. Anybody have any clues as to how to fix this?
Thanx in advance,

Yes... I am running Netshield. I am on my way down to the server room to
disble it.
Any other .cfm files run fine... It's just a few subdirectories that get
all cheesy on me.
I hate computers...

I believe that Yahoo is going to use Flash Comm Server in the very near

Hi,
Any public
WAP functionality is built right into CF Server.
Just put this on the header of your CF page:

For WAP related documents using ColdFusion, it's a lot easier to use a
cfm extenstion and have CF Server automatically change the content type
for you.
If it's a compile error, just make sure all of your tags are lowercase,
and all tags are closed, because WAP is EXTREMELY case sensitive.

Well, Kim... Keep in mind that you can still be a .NET guru and live in
harmony with CF!!!
I, too, am a Windows App Developer, and have been using .NET for about 2
years now (only 5 months in a production environment). I use CFMX in
conjunction with .NET with great success. I still use CF for

No trouble here whatsoever. They are working together fine. I installed
the .NET framework a long while ago for the sake of COM interop. Haven't
had a problem yet (it's been about 9 months).

Well, I'm currently loving the book "Patterns of Enterprise Application
Development" by Martin Fowler. Might not be *exactly* what you're
looking for, but it's a great application design pattern book.

As a MCAD.NET, I can safely recommend the majority of MS Press books
dealing with .NET, seeing as those are the only materials I used to
study for the exams. It seems as though you've made up your mind to go
with VB.NET, but I would strongly encourage you learning C# instead.

At one of my old jobs, the web admin passwords were our scanned
licenses. We used a CueCat thing, free from RadioShack at the time. It's
obviously not the most secure way, but it was really fun and people were
always saying how cool it was!!!

I myself am working on my MCAD.NET. After obtaining that(just one more

I really like the .NET Framework, and the MCAD is just 3 tests. Plus,

The last thing I want to do today is enter into a debate that will never

As much as I HATE to support it, I have to give MS Access at least a

Well, along with being cautious about becoming multi-skilled, you really
need to focus on 3-4 technologies and settle down with those. Hence,
it's one big gamble. My destiny lies within ColdFusion, .NET (using C#),
