structure.
I don't want to bore you by posting the entire query, but the specific part of
the query that is failing is this :
and ',' myfieldname ',' LIKE '%,myvalue,%'
How do I rewrite that logic for MySQL?
I have not used MySQL extensively.
Thanks for any help,

I realise no one is following this thread anymore, but I'm just updating it in
case it helps someone from the archives later.
Course if anyone has any suggestions, feel free to chime in.
I have changed the Select strings to make all the keys unique. I still don't
understand why this is
to design the
database :)

That's cool if I just wanted to find out whether the tblcasino.poker field was
in a list.
But consider that I want to have one query where I join the tblcasinos table to
the other sub-tables containing the descriptions of the game types.
For purposes of creating a Verity Collection from the
Are you implying that because of Eclipse's entry into the marketplace,
Macromedia will not be updating Dreamweaver MX to fix the bugs and add better
functionality?
As far as I can see, Eclipse doesn't replace MX, it seeks to replace Homesite
and CF Studio perhaps.
And regardless of how good a
Ok, after a lot of messing around I have come up with this:
---
select CStr(tblpoker.pokerid) + '|' + tblCasinos.casinoid AS
CasinoID,tblpoker.pokerdesc
from tblCasinos, tblPoker
where ',' + tblCasinos.poker + ',' like '%,' + CStr(tblPoker.pokerid) + ',%'
UNION
select CStr(tblslots.slotsid) +
this be implemented?

having to run that CFQUERY on each and every page request to the database.
So, there really is no way to delete a Session structure from the Coldfusion Server, and thus one must use workarounds like this?

In your user table, add a new field named sessionID.When a user
logs in, set their record's se
of files to check.

Hey All,
If you open an attachment (say Word doc) in Outlook Express (latest version
on XP Pro)...make some changes and save itwhere does that file get
saved? This is of course opening an attachement and NOT doing a save as.

Hey,
Does anyone have any other ideas? I still haven't solved this issue yet. And I still can't figure out what's the problem with my code.

Hi there,
here's a bit of code I'm using to login users using the CFLOGINUSER TAG.
The output I am seeing is CFLOGINUSER SHOULD BE EXECUTED.
But I'm not seeing the GetAuthUser(), and the user is never actually logged in.
WHen I type this :
CFLOGINUSER NAME=MyName PASSWORD=MyPassword
you actually leave the cflogin block. I seem to remember that bug.

Ok, new twist.
I've just figured that the CFLOGIN block in act_login.cfm does not execute after the code runs the first time.
However, GetAuthUser() still produces nothing.
This is very strange, all on my local machine so I'm not really dealing with any remote server weirdness.

Hey,
Do you know how to set a default value in the CFGRID?
Is it possible?
Say one of the fields MUST be an employee ID that is stored in a client
variable, how do I do that?
