Hey guys

I was pretty disappointed with ftp on eclipse for quite some time.
For the last 6 months I would do a search for plugins figuring I
would find a decent solution because the one that comes with eclipse
is terrible. Especially if your used to something like Dreamweaver or
GoLive. I happened to read someones blog and came across Aptana-
http://www.aptana.com/. FTP/SFTP is top notch in this plugin. You can
syncronize, upload, download, cloak by filetypes. Highy recomend it.
And it's free.

Here is a quick description

Aptana is a robust, JavaScript-focused IDE for building dynamic web
applications. Highlights include the following features:
Code Assist on JavaScript, HTML, and CSS languages, including your
own JavaScript functions
Outliner that gives a snapshot view of your JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
code structure
FTP/SFTP uploading, downloading and synchronization
JavaScript debugger to troubleshoot your code
Error and warning notification for your code

Interestingly enough, Aptana was founded by a guy named Paul Colton,
the guy who developed JRun which was ultimately sold to Allair and
now owned by Adobe.
