ORIGINAL POST FFMPEG and CF are no match made in heaven. My advice it to stay away from CFEXECUTE when using FFMPEG. We used the Java Runtime library to fire off the thread and had much better results. I posted the code and details on my blog for reference. Check it out here http://tomdeman.co
