If these guys give you an update once a week they can wait 15 more minutes
for the information to be available! Tell them the facts of life.
Sometimes users have to be told NO! If they need faster updates let them
ODBC into your database more frequently and directly update your tables.

Have you attempted to re-name the file and then delete it. That may prevent
the delay in actually deleting the file from interfering with your re-write
of the original file name.

We are converting and merging several Access based systems to Cold Fusion and Oracle
running on a Solarix server. We have a number of power users who need access to the
