Betreff: LIKE and % is just not enough. Advanced SQL Search help needed
Hello list - very long time no post. Anyhow-
I have the search on a site I developed and the % wildcard and LIKE is just
not powerful enough or too loose in other cases.
I have the typical issues like enter "red" and everything with "fired" comes
up - but they(the pots) may be brown.
Enter "red pot" and every field with pot - which is essentially everything
comes up.
I implemented a Common Words find and replace loop to eliminate words like
"pot, pottery, kiln, fired" etc but that has it's logic issues occasionally.
