I am tyring to exploit my cable connection with a few domain
names I'm toying with!:-) Hopefully I can get it all setup.
It's a pain, im not server admin.
What exactly are you trying to do? If you just want to resolve names
locally, why not just put them in your HOSTS file?

You'll also have to open up your firewall, of course.Stupid
idiot mistake,
but I know I've spent hours troubleshooting network issues
that that's been
the reason.
