The chat app hits the server every 2 seconds, whether you're typing
stuff or not. Ajax is a terrible solution for chat for this reason.

I think the ERROR:1004 is possibly being caused by lag... either
server or net lag... I suspect that the idle watcher, a method that
cleans up rooms when people don't seem to be connected anymore, is
at fault. It deletes people from the room_users table if they haven't
pinged in the last 10
