Yea, I thought this was a strange comparison. You're comparing a fairly simple Peer Web server with a full-featured, multi-homed, SSL-capable WebSite server (unless you're talking about WS1.x non-Pro, in which case leave out the SSL part). So it really depends on what you need a Web server fo

If you want a real webserver then PWS wont cut it. All PWS is, ia a local, limited functionality webserver for testing pages. It has sod all admin features. But if you just want something simple to test your pages locally before you make them live, then this will do you. But I would install IIS

Which version of Website was being run? I have been running a box with 1.1H on it for nearly 3 years with no problems. Running one now with 2.4.9 for the last month with no problems. PWS is a bloated imitation of IIS. You would be better off using APACHE as some have suggested. DC -
