I've used LSMTP from LSoft(http://www.lsoft.com) with great success. We
use a combination of CFX_Mail and LSMTP to send out several thousand
messages an hour. We switched over from Lyris a couple of years ago.
FYI, those messages are order and shipment confirmations for a large
retail

someone down who's using Lyris' Mail Engine for an SMTP server. Anyone have
any feedback on it? Interested in its throughput. Their docs say that
their engine cna blast about 200,000 emails an hour, and I just
