Apologies for OT nature of the question, but I know there's a lot of net admin talent
here so I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.
I'm about to recommend one of two firewalls for my network, and I'd appreciate any
opinions on them. They are:
3Com OfficeConnect Internet Firewall DMZ;
SonicWall
Firewall tips?
Having tried both Freesco (freesco.com) and Mikrotik (MikroTik.com) I
thought I'd ask what others are using.
I have a static IP on cable and IIS running a half dozen websites on
"Virtual" IP's
Any recomendations on Firewall software I can install on a spare p130/32MB?
Any resour
I use OpenBSD with ipfilter as my firewall and gateway.

Joseph,
A success story. I've been using freesco for quite some time now with much
success. I had a problem port forwarding for a bit... until I figured out
my cable ISP began blocking port 80. Then all went well when I reconfigured
for that problem.
