I'm currently researching options for a new enterprise level search engine for here at Ohio University. I know Verity K2 comes with CF, but it is limited and from everything I've read, I don't feel it's anywhere near robust enough for an enterprise level search like we have here (100,000 static pages, plus CMS pages distributed across some 55 servers). We're slowly reeling in all of these loose servers, but it will take a couple of years. Until then, we need help.
I see that Macromedia is using the Atomz search engine actually sitting on the Atomz website. (That, in and of itself could speak to the Verity issue). My question is this. Is MM migrating to Verity? Or will they be sticking with Atomz? And if Atomz, why have Atomz host it over MM hosting it? Can anybody speak to these questions? Thanks, Dave Hannum =============================== David R.
