Funny, I used to think too that PWS and Windows ME were incompatible, and
it might have been from this list that I got that impression. Then I
bought a used laptop (ThinkPad 560X) with both installed and working fine
together. I added CF and it runs great too. Maybe there's some special
coming in on the end of this thread here, but it is possible to run PWS on
Win ME (after spending over 8 hours researching and installing the thing!)
The best scenario for this is to have CF and PWS on win 98 and upgrade to
ME - which then seems to run OK - if you have to start from scratch
