I actually stick with Ben's books (QUE) for a more down-to-earth look at CF
development. I have his CF 4 beginner and advanced books, and although the
first half of the blue book was useless to me, the books in general were
very well worded. It might be worth the wait for his advanced CF5 book

ColdFusion 5 Web Application Construction Kit,
Professional ColdFusion 5.0 by Wrox Press Inc,
and
Mastering Coldfusion 5.0
each seem to go a little further in some areas, but that would be it for me
anyway,
