As for the original post, yes, the AOL browser is Microsoft Internet
Explorer... it supports _javascript_ and dhtml quite nicely

use functionality that requires _javascript_. I've got an email into him/her
asking what type of computer they are using and browser type. Thought I'd do
a little preliminary research about AOL.

Yup it does. as long as it's enabled. AOL uses Internet Explorer as the
browser core, so pretty much everything that works in IE works in AOL (which
version of IE depends on which version of AOL).
