Well. Navigator 2.0 was the first browser to introduce _javascript_, so definitely anything before that won't be able to handle it.  Many small-device (PocketPC, Palm, etc) browsers can't handle script at all even today. Pretty much all recent desktop browsers can handle _javascript_, but they can
