Server Configuration Utility from the Start menu within the Macromedia

Yes, I think the JRunScripts virtual directory is required for Flash
Remoting. Rerunning the web
if you are on a shared server make sure the host has activated remoting on your
account

Look in your JRun error logs (even though you didn't install the full
version of JRun, they should still be there somewhere) and/or start CFMX as
an application instead of a service to see if you get any errors on startup.
