When you do the transfer enssure you select the bottom option (in sql
server 2k) that specifies that tables and objects are moved across..
This will ensure that identity fields etc are copied across

I was wondering if anybody out there had some info concerning
transferring data from one MS SQL Server to another. I want to keep all
aspects of the database the same. When I have done this in the past and
exported the data to another server it did not retain any of the
identity fields. Any Suggestions?
