Wow, I hadn't taken a look at QuickDocs in a while, it's looking spiffy! It's definitely time to use this rather than the slow Macrobe LiveDocs. I found a cool bit of JavaScript that might have a good application for this, it's a (more or less) true ComboBox (text entry and dropdown) using JavaSc
