What do you mean by "the SQL Server clone"? If you mean MSDE, you're
probably right that you can't run it and SQL Server 7 on the same box. MSDE
isn't run in Access 2000,

don't believe the MDAC drivers that shipped with 4.0x supported
Access2k but I could be wrong on this.
