CGI variables are only used for informational purposes. Spoofing an IP
address on an outbound connection would require direct TCP programming to
tell the drivers to send a different IP address, IIRC. Why would you want
to do such a thing from a CF app anyway?

I'd be very surprised if that worked - IP spoofing is a bit more complex
than that, and you can't do it through the HTTP protocol. That CGI variable
is determined by th
