I've set up VNC on a headless box to get XWindows access... you need to make
sure you have your server set up and running correctly. I haven't played
with it since I got my switchbox working, so that's about the best help I
can provide. If memory serves correctly I had to set up the server to
create an instance of xWindows. KDE didn't come up directly.
Something else *NIX fans might look into is remote xWindows servers. These
are programs that access a box directly and connect as an extra terminal.
The "servers" (I can't remember why that is the correct syntax, but it
confused me too) aren't free, but I know from first hand experience that
they can be made to work. You can even set it up so that you log in
directly through KDE.

linux box ?
o.k.
Beside the discussion of PCA on WIN-Plattform, what can I use
to get graphical interface to a linux box ? (I have a KDE running on the
linux box)
I tried VNC but it only gives me a view on the linux command shell.
Ideas ?

Yes, it does require a reboot. I downloaded it to my computer at
home, uploaded it to the server and installed it with pcA then
uninstalled pcA after a couple days.
