Every now and then, we have a cfm page on our server that crashes the whole
ColdFusion instance and eventually takes down the other instances if action in
restarting the service doesn't happen quickly. There is nothing special about
the pages in question (no database calls or highly demanding functionality),
and many of them do not have functionality outside of that of other similar
pages (included header and footer, etc.). But when you run the page, it takes
everything down. If you try to replace that page with entirely different code
and run it, it still takes everything down. The only way to resolve the issue
so far is to go into IIS and make it a permanent redirect to another page so
that processing never touches JRun/ColdFusion.

Does anyone know what causes this and how to resolve the issue? AFAIK, these
pages aren't running "bad" code. I fear that this may happen to a more
"important" page in the future. Imagine if the site's front page developed
this problem!

Thanks.
