Here is the scenario - I have an existing ColdFusion 8 multi-server install
on my development workstation. I have a project for which I need to run
ColdFusion 7, so I have installed the Java 1.4.2 SDK and then deployed
ColdFusion 7 and a EAR to my existing ColdFusion 8 JRun server as a new
instance. I manually created the NT service, setting the path to a
different JVM config file that has the java.home path pointing to the 1.4.2
SDK.

However, when I attempt to start the instance, it fails and all this is in
the log file is the message "Error occurred during initialization of VM". I
am not a JVM expert by any means, so can anybody offer some pointers as to
what might be going on here?

Thanks
