Make sure your visitors don't use IE and then follow the
instructions in RFC 2616
use cfcontent and cfheader
cfheader name=Content-Disposition value=attachment;
filename=MyFileName.Ext
cfcontent file=MyFileName.Ext deletefile=No

Works for me, but I can't guarantee it works no matter what

You realise that should you click on a html file, you would also launch a
