I did find that there is a quantize() function in ImageMagick library.
Does anyone know if cfimage support anytype of this function.

Don't know about CFIMAGE, but here is a solution, if you provide a palette,
any palette in GIF, JPG, JPE, JPEG or PNG format will work.

can CFimage pull the colors from an image?
