I am using an Oracle 8i database and I am trying to store some html in a
field. We were using a varchar2(4000) datatype, but changed it to CLOB.
However, I still get the ORA-01704:String literal too long error. Has
anyone successfully stored data larger than 4000 characters in Oracle? How
do you insert and update the CLOB field? Can you use SQL or do I need to
run a stored procedure?

Thank you,
