www.steelblue.com
SteelBlue is an open-source Web application server environment in which
Web-database applications can be developed completely in an extended HTML
language. Similar to ColdFusion and Story Server, session and
user-associated data as well as SQL commands can be directly embedded
I've never used it, but after reading through a description of its syntax
and peeking at the Tag Reference, it seams a little more abstract that CF
and a bit less full featured. I wouln't make a switch anytime soon :)
