Hi everyone, I just wanted to share a CF/Java project that we have recently launched.
The site is Oasis Active (www.oasisactive.com). It is fully developed in Coldfusion 7 with a lot of web 2 concepts. The site is entirely developed using Ajax (with back button support of course!) - and is just really cool! It utilises an advanced messaging and presence service using the Jabber protocol and Openfire. The instant messaging can connect on the direct jabber ports directly from the client or downgrade automatically to http binding when firewalled. Messaging and presence is instant. instant instant! (I had to learn the Jabber protocol.. aargh!) If anyone is interested in any of the principles behind this site let me know and I would be happy to talk about them - especially jabber.
