I've run a number of sites small and large on model glue with
coldspring and transfer on shared hosting and haven't had any
problems. i would highly recommend switching to transfer - it has a
bunch of features lacking in reactor, is much much faster and the
caching mechanisms are top notc

I've heard it said that Reactor is generally slow/processor hungry,

I've had the same issue with using Coldbox on shared hosting. Like you, my
app was probably less traffic intense than some of the other apps hosted on
same shared server which meant that the app's components were more likely to
be flushed out of cf cache. The work around for this was to probe the a
