They do not require hospitality experience but it is a plus. Oracle RAC is a must. *Job Requirement: * •Installation and administration of Red Hat Linux Operating System and other packages as needed for business applications •Must possesses a thorough understanding of storage device administration such as the addition/removal of disk •Ability to work with host based volume management systems such as Solaris ZFS or Linux Volume Manager •Must be familiar with the OS support for Oracle RAC and be able to configure Oracle ASM volumes in preparation for handover to database administrators •Perform system capacity planning and performance tuning •Ability to work closely with various infrastructure teams for installing and configuring new systems •Provide system support and troubleshooting expertise as needed •Maintain patch levels across multiple systems, as needed for security and policy compliance •Participation in 7x24 on-call rotation •Perform other duties and special projects as required *Qualifications: * •Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field. •Minimum 5 years' experience as a Solaris/Red Hat Linux administrator. •Experience in Red Hat Satellite. •Strong UNIX shell scripting experience. •Unix Security Framework knowledge (PAM, KDC/LDAP, SSH key management, etc.). •Implementation and maintenance of VCS and or RAC high availability solutions. •Experience with configuration management tools and processes. •Experience with operating system performance monitoring and tuning. •JBoss (Tomcat), Apache, architecture and administration experience. •Good understanding of SSH, NFS, SFTP, HTTP and TCP/IP. •Experience in a Sarbanes Oxley compliant enterprise. •Experience with enterprise system monitor tools. •Experience in the support of SAN's and EMC Powerpath is preferred. •VMware administration experience •Excellent communication, problem solving, and teamwork skills.
