Is no one willing to allow public access to thier Freenet Client? I
tried Hawk.freenetproject.org: and 8080 and 8081, but, I got nothing.

RFC? I don't remember what it is or where it is. Are you sure I can

There are numerous websites with java IRC clients,
assuming your workstation has a browser and you have sufficient permissions
to allow java applets,
a search on google should turn up a suitable applet.

I think a C++ version would make a BIG difference on my PC. The java
programs take up all the processor power and the PC crashes. If you can
make a smaller program that uses a LOT LESS resources and processing power,
I'll be happy. :)
