WHAT DRIVE A HONDA INSTEAD OF A CHEVELLE are you crazy there is no # one

Okay, I'll admit it, I don't know what the hell I'm gonna do, so I'm gonna
ask the gurus. Heres the scoop:
The car- 1979 Chevrolet El Camino w/ v-6 and ? auto-trans, motor and trans
removed by previous owner.
The motor- 1986? Buick Regal v-8 w/ ? auto-trans. Was purchased from
neighbor who g
I'd say the 262 and 267 were tie breakers as far as worst sb chevy. then i
would say the 305. the 307 replaced the 283 and was never meant to be a
performance motor. in fact i do believe it was a 2 barrel only motor.

Everybody has chipped around the corners, of why a Power-glide works in a
race car, but no one has really hit it yet. The reason is the race torque
converto
the big boys that use the glides at the 1/4 track go generally with all
aftermarket parts. also the vehicle is 2300 lbs. or lighter. and times of 9
seconds or faster. p.s. years ago the old glides had a rear pump also which

It's true that a lot of drag racers run a PG. I run one in my drag car
(67 Camaro).
Yes, powerglides are 2 speeds.
