In 68 they used two different wiper motors.
The one that looks kind of square or boxy seems to be the most common but mine
has one that is long & round. I can take a pic tomorrow if it will
help.

Rick and everyone... The wires are long gone. The car had been gutted out. dash and everything is long gone. I custom fabbed up a dash panel and have all aftermarket gauges. The car is gonna see a lot of drag strip time, but I figure it would be nice to have the wipers since they weigh so little
It is definitely suppose to be adjustable. My car is home in the garage, so I can't
look at it. But if yours is that messed up, I'd replace it. It should not be
difficult to loosen/tighten. Junkyards should have plenty of suitable donors.
Make sure that you have the bumpers adjusted

compared, but I bet that the mounts may be different. I don't know for sure, how

I have a similar problem. As I was rewiring the Mallory breakerless ignition,
I brushed the back of the windshied wiper switch and it barfed out all it's
innards. Little springs and brass contact stuff all over the floor mat.

recessed park wipers and is two speed.
