Well, what I was saying is that the wiring diagrams in the Service Manual
are better than the ones in the Assembly Manual. As far as buying both, it's
really up to you but it never hurts to have information and the books will
be among the least expensive parts of your restoration.

schematics in the Service Manual. If you are specifically interested in
wiring, the Service Manual is a better choice IMO.

I looked in my old Chiltons book an they show 1965 for the Caprice. I think its more a "package" ... Biscane, Bel Air, Impala, Impala SS and Caprice 16647 2 dr custom coupe and three wagon choices. it does not list any Caprice convertables.
