Hi I had a question on a 1968 Chevelle convertible top.
i had a new top put on the car, and put in all new weather-strips, but it seems impossible to get the back of the rear quarter windows to seal and ride inside the "channel" in the rubber. we moved the quarter windows as far back as the adjustm
Sounds like a cigarette lighter plug to me
Charles,
Don't be fooled by the price of $1,300. You need to take into acout the price of everythingelse you will need to complete the engine. You have machine work (dipping the block, bore and hone, Install new cam bearings and oil plugs or restrictors, etc) , new pistons, new rods, new crank
I like the stuff I got from OPG for my 65. Great fit and easy install.

John, there maybe a few out here that need tightening too ! lol
I still would like Craig to verify whether or not
there is a loose nut behind the wheel. Could be a dangerous situation if left
unchecked.

There are other kits out there as well, I had a look in my last summit
and both Brodix and Dart offer them.
If you still have to buy everything I'd definitely go for a 383, maybe
with some bigger heads, but its all down to use etc
I dont know how many $$$ you have to spend, but a 383 with that
It could be for the framostat, or maybe the
Knutson (a.k.a. Kanutson) valve. While you’re in there, check and see if there
is a loose nut behind the wheel.

Shoot,
I'd consider even paying the insurance. You are correct, though.
That would be one heck of a commute. That may be a solution to your
problem, though. If you have someone near you, that you trust, it could be
a win win situation. They get to use a classic vehicle fo

I might actually consider that if it were not an insurance
issue, and if you were nearby enough that I could take it for a spin once in a
while myself. I was thinking about offering that option to my brother, but he
doesn't have a garage.
BTW, my new "daily driver" is a
I don't immediately know that plug. Where is it located in the

What?
Trevor has an attitude toward me? Just kidding, we mention and recommend each
other all the time. I have bought used parts from Trevor myself and was very
happy with the parts & service.
Speaking
of used parts, I am still looking for horns with brackets for my 69 El Camino. The

With guys
like Trevor and John in this world, why would any one buy from anyone else? I
have never done business with Trevor, but with his attitude towards John
and others on this list, I am sure I will when the occasion arises. And John has
always done me more than right!!! Thanks guys!
Try John Nasta. I just bought
several items from him and he's a good guy to deal with.
