There are other kits out there as well, I had a look in my last summit and both Brodix and Dart offer them. If you still have to buy everything I'd definitely go for a 383, maybe with some bigger heads, but its all down to use etc I don’t know how many $$$ you have to spend, but a 383 with that

It could be for the framostat, or maybe the Knutson (a.k.a. Kanutson) valve. While you’re in there, check and see if there is a loose nut behind the wheel.
