My wife is like that too. She can't understand how I can spend hours cleaning the car
and hanging out in the heat all day talking to a bunch of gearheads. I keep telling
her she doesn't know what she's missing. The members of the chevelle community and

Thank you Mike H for the reply, it helps to know there is not a hidden trick to it

Just an FYI on the tall spindle conversion, you need to either have the spindle reamed
out for the chevelle lower ball joint to fit, or have the caprice lower ball joint
machined to fit in the chevelle lower control arm.

I have a set in my Chevelle. I don't know the model number, but they
are black vinyl with a grey cloth insert and inflatable lumbar. These
are buckets, but not the deep bucket. I like them, and at about ten
years old (maybe 13 years) the driver seat is starting to show it's age.

Ok, if anyone read my post about compression, then everyone realizes that I
need to rebuild my poor 350.
I think I found a big block completely built within my budget. Since my car
is missing the original engine anyway, I figure a big block won't make it

The
rotors are Baer and I'm really glad I have them. They completely update
the look and I'm sure the braking performance is going to be much better
too. There aren't any cracks but then I've only put about 5 miles on them
so far.
