It is nice to know that there is a supplier out there that will resale
products like Ted WIlliams products at a decent price. I had my dealings with
OPG and all they wanted to sell to me is the crap that they are having an
outside vendor reproduce. Crap.

speed in a 70 Chevelle - pros or cons? I have a Saginaw 4 speed and I was
wondering if it's any good compared to a Muncie.Should I want to rebuild
it and put it into my 70 which presently has a TH350 auto? Any comments
would be appreciated.

I had a Saginaw 4 speed in my first '71 Malibu 350
and drove it for 130k miles with no problems. My second '71 Malibu 350 also has
a 4 speed Saginaw. The engine has more than the stock HP, but probably not more
than 300. I can't speak for how it would hold upbehind a high HP engine,
but as
They were installed behind low hp cars. I myself wouldn't use one on
anything over 300 hp. The trick use to be to find a 4 speed Saginaw and a 3
speedOD Saginaw and mate them together. Just by changing the tail shaft
you have a 4 speed with OD. There was some electrical involved because of
I am not sure what brand it is, but I opened it up to check it out and I
can't figure it out.
Is there any tests I can do with a my volt/ammeter to know for sure what
wire is what? I guess I can hook up the tach and give it a shot, as per
Tom's suggestion.
I'll see if I got sometime this
