I was just wondering if any of you guys had either
painted or powdercoated the rear axle and differential. How did it turn
out. I am taking my frame in next week for powdercoat and am thinking of
taking the rear end with me.
Thanks

Does anybody know the length of a 1970 TH350 dipstick? I have a 1970 TH350
in my 69 and I'm wondering if I have the right dipstick. If I fill it to the
line, some (a fair amount) always purges out. If I just leave it alone (even
if it says it's a little low) it seems to be fine. The stick also
My '71 TH 350 measures as follows:
Overall length 25 7/8
Tip of bottom to washer below seal at top 23 7/8
Tip to full mark 1 1/2
Tip to add mark 7/8
Hope this helps

Ok I found it. 1961 was a dealer installed "SS"
kit available on the Impala and 1962 it was a factory option 240 available for
the Impala and the convertible.

This has been around on the internet several times, and believe me it is a
complete farce. First they do not have any way of doing the tracking that
is stating, and second neither company are that free with their money. I
was foolish enough to try it the first time, and didn't hear one word or
Ok, the joke is over! Why is there still a picture of you on the Chevelle's
hood instead of your girlfriend? Aside from that, the page looks good!

Title: Z bar for 99 BB
Can some one please tell me the difference between a 66 small block z bar and a 66 BB z bar. My first post to the site, Thanks David
A friend of mine is parting out an 88 Firebird TA and has offered its
complete serpentine belt system with a/c compressor,p/s pump, alternator,
water pump, and all brackets pulleys to me for $100. I'd like to buy it and
install the system on my 69's SBC.
Any do's, don'ts, or helpful hints?
Clint
IM trying to determine if my husband chevelle is a real ss or
not all he has is a shell no dual fuel lines no rear end is it true
all ss chevelle came out of 1 or 2 plants
thanks
SS Chevelles were built at all plants
building the 70 models; Atlanta, Van Nuys, Arlington, Baltimore, Flint, Kansas City, and Oshawa. Without some sort
of paperwork or protect-o-plate, theres no real way to tell if its
a SS or just has some SS options added by a previous owner.
Dale
I'd say just make sure you have the appropriate
accessory bolt holes on your 69 motor.
