The accelerator cable in my 1969 El Camino broke today (and the pin that
holds the pedal on broke last week). Does any body know or have a picture of
the correct way to connect the cable to the pedal arm? There is a crimped
end on the cable and my old one was held on with a hose clamp. It served

part number. Does anybody have it? The cable fits all 1969-72 w/ 350 4bbl.

a local Chevy dealer (although they said it would take a day or two to come
in).
p.s. This cable (3973862) fits all 1969-72 w/ 350 4bbl. I still need to
know the right way to attach it to the pedal. The local Chevy dealer says he
